Hindu Temple of Fargo MoorHead

Hindu Temple of Fargo Moorhead is on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota but technically it is in Minnesota.  This temple aims to provide a place where followers of Sanatan Dharma. or other people can learn and practice dharmic activities and follow Vedic philosophy without discrimination of race, color, caste, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion.  This is a relatively new temple which opened in 2023.

• Location: 16 4th St N, Moorhead, MN 56560, US.
• Mission: To operate as a Hindu temple for worship, uphold Hindu religious activities, provide facilities for festivals and ceremonies, promote Indian music, art, dance and culture, and promote the Hindu religion and philosophy.
• Activities: The temple facilitates religious, spiritual, cultural, and educational activities related to Sanatan Dharma/Hindu philosophy.
• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10 AM to 1 PM and 4:30 PM to 7 PM.
  • Saturday, Sunday: 10 AM to 5 PM.
  • Wednesday: Closed.
• Services: Puja services are offered and can be scheduled by contacting the temple via email.
• Community: The temple serves the Indian-American community in Fargo-Moorhead, which includes around 200 families. It provides a place for community worship, prayer, and social interaction, including activities for children.

• Yoga sessions are offered every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 5:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
• The temple is seen as a way to help Hindu families, particularly those from India, connect with their culture and religion.
