  • About the Temple:
  • The Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of DFW was established in 2004 as a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the teachings of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and serving as a “Sarva-Dharma place of worship”. It aims to foster a sense of unity and devotion among its members through various religious and cultural activities, events, and puja services. The temple provides a space for worship, meditation, and community gatherings.
  • Notable aspects:
    • It is described as a serene and spiritual place.
    • It’s known as the biggest Shirdi Sai Baba temple in DFW.
    • The temple is located next to a church and a Muslim place of worship, exemplifying Baba’s “Sarva-Dharma principle”.
    • Similar to Dwarkamai, the place where Baba resided, the temple building was previously a mosque.
    • The temple has undertaken various projects, including parking lot expansion and a new carport for vehicle pujas, both completed in 2024.
    • There are plans for future projects like the installation of Vasthu Sthanas (deities) and enhanced security measures with fencing and gates.
    Community Involvement:
The temple actively engages with the community. For example, it organized a special prayer service for victims of the Allen shooting in May 2023.
