Bharat Sevashram was founded by Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj who founded this institution for the benefit of mankind in 1917. Chicago chapter was inaugurated in 1987 and the current location has been used since 2007.
This ashram is present in Chicago’s neighborhood of Aurora which also has two other temple – The Venkateshara temple and the Sai Baba temple
