The Austin Hindu Temple & Community Center (AHTCC) is a Hindu temple and community center located in Austin, Texas.  it’s a large and well-maintained temple with a variety of deities,  The Sri Vara Siddhi Vinayaka Temple within the AHTCC was inaugurated in 2007. It was originally designed by Sthapati Karuppiah Swaminathan as an open-air temple, later expanded and enclosed with the final ornamentation designed by Padmasri Muthaiah Sthapati. 

 

This temple is home to a wide array of Hindu deities, catering to diverse Hindu traditions and practices. Some of the deities worshipped include Lord Venkateswara, Lord Shiva (including a Shivling), Lord Rama, Lord Hanuman, Mahalakshmi, Durga, Krishna, and others. The temple also features a Sri Vara Siddhi Vinayaka Temple, dedicated to Ganesh.

History and Development:

Incorporated in 2001: The Austin Hindu Temple was incorporated in Texas on December 20, 2001.

Land Acquisition and Construction: The current land was acquired in 2003, and construction of the Ganesh Temple and Multi-Purpose Religious Hall began.
Kumbhabhishekams: The temple has held multiple Kumbhabhishekams, including the Prana Pratishta of the Sri Vara Siddhi Vinayaka Temple in 2007 and the Navagraha Temple in 2009.
Ongoing Development: The temple has continuously expanded and added new structures, including the Raja Gopuram, which was recently completed.
