Vitthal is typically depicted as a dark young boy, standing arms akimbo on a brick. He is sometimes accompanied by his consort, Rakhumai (Rukmini). The main center of worship for Vitthal is the Shree Vitthal Rukmini Temple in Pandharpur, Maharashtra.
