It is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Pashupati, an incarnation of Lord Shiva.Pashupatinath refers to a manifestation of the Hindu deity Shiva, revered as the “Lord of Animals” or “Lord of all living beings”. The most famous and significant temple dedicated to Pashupatinath is the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal.  That temple is located on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River in Kathmandu, Nepal. It’s one of the holiest places of worship for Hindus and considered the most sacred Hindu temple in Nepal. It’s also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
