It was built recently and inaugurated on March 8, 2024. The original Pashupatinath temple is located in Kathmandu, Nepal and millions of devotees visit that temple each year. Shree Pashupatinath Temple in Hutto, Texas, serves as a significant spiritual and cultural center for the Nepalese community in the Austin area, offering a peaceful space for worship and celebrations.
Like its famous namesake in Kathmandu, Nepal, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, known as Pashupati, the “Lord of all creatures”.
